Charlie's Gotcha Day in Review:
-
Hey guys, it's The Twins! Now, we have been meaning to post about Mr.Charlie's "Gotcha Day" for awhile now but time has just passed us by. So we figured now would be a good time to tell you about how his day went on that special Sunday!
-
So, we woke up early that day to give Charlie his special "chinchilla pie" from Puff and Meghan at Magical Chinchilla and to open some of his presents! He was so excited about his new chew toy and applewood stick (also from Puff) and ate up a piece of his pie. After that we had to leave to church, but luckily we came back soon to hang out with our favorite little guy! When we got home we immediately went to playtime and he opened up his last present, his very own Fuji Film Instax Mini 8 camera! (It was a keychain of course!)It was just his size and  luckily didn't take pictures. He didn't pose with it but he did sniff at it a little. (that's a start right?!) After lots of wallsurfs and craziness at playtime, he ate some more fruit from his pie, got a chin-scratch from both twins and lots of hugs and kisses from the rest of his family! Finally, we all went to bed after a long day (except for Charlie of course!) and we all had one chintastic day.

Happy Birthday Twins!

Hey guys! So it's the twins' birthday today and I thought I'd do something special, I seem to always say that but I can't quite do much! (Since I'm a chinchilla.)
Now I know it sounds cliche but, for this year's present I realized something extra special that I gave them last year and every day since I met them; love, smiles, laughs and memories that will last forever.-The things that matter most! Happy birthday twins! I love you so much.

Hey Guys! I have a funny little story to share with you this sunny Saturday morning.
-
So, it all started at about 11:30 this morning when the twin's mom pulled out some old photo albums. As we were looking through the old papers, photos, and poems we found some pictures that were printed off from an online gallery, the twins asked their mom what it was and she answered sentimentally. " I used to have a blog for you two, it was kind of like Facebook, or your "chin-charlie" blog! I made it so our friends and family could see what we were up to everyday. And look, it was from your point of view too!" The twins laughed and told her how she was so ahead of her time! Later we went on the website to see if their blog was still there, but unfortunately, it got erased off the site.
So, I guess you could say that The Twins have been blogging since day one!

Hey guys! Charlie and the Twins are back! Sorry we've been on a bit of a hiatus, we've just had a huge writer's block!(Dun Dun Dun!!!!!)
-
"Chinchillas are unique creatures,
And that's why it's a shame when people capture them, and torture them for their fur."
- The Twins' Dad
-
Hey Guys! Today I was a bad boy. But I wasn't really being bad!
-
So earlier this morning before breakfast the twins took me to the big brown table for a chin-photo shoot! Little did they know that they would learn something new today. I was being quiet and posing as always until the twins' dad turned on the blender! I ran for dear life! To the twins it was just a blender, but for me it was the loudest and scariest thing I'd ever heard. Then, as I ran for the door, the twins chased me in panic hoping I wouldn't encounter the cat! (don't worry they were low to the ground;) Until Ana finally scooped me up and held me in a comfy and correct position. As soon as I knew it I was back at home, being showered with treats and apologies incase they scared me. Finally, the twins sat down for breakfast in the kitchen as their dad shared with them the beautiful quote above. They talked about how it was just my instinct and about the very sad chin-history of my ancestors. And of course learned their lesson.
-
So after my little "prison break" we all learned a little something new today, that we should take the wise words of the both twins' parents and respect the lives of others and those around us! Humans and animals alike!
-
Thanks for reading! There should be more stories coming soon!
XOXO,
Charlie and The Twins

Hey Guys! It's the twins and we have a heart warming story to get you started this morning!
-

So, this morning an important thought came into our mind. Does our mom love Charlie as much as we do? So, as we helped put away the laundry we asked her that very important question. And she answered back with something like this: " Well girls, at first, I didn't really care for him. But not too long ago, while you guys where on that trip with dad, I was taking care of him! And in those few days we kind of bonded and I've loved him ever since!"
 -
And after that, one of the twins came, wrote this down, let me proof read it, and shared it with you guys!~ Charlie

Hey guys! It's just Charlie today. I was originally going to do a segment on how to take a "chin-selfie", but I thought this was much more important. Today I taught The Twins a very important lesson, to make like a chinchilla, and "Chin-chill out!" So the story starts last night...

I got nominated for the ALS "Dust Bucket Challenge."  The Twins were ecstatic! So it was off to playtime the very next morning. But long story short, we didn't have much time. Well, they went ahead anyways, thinking "It'll be easy! 'Charlie will hop in the box, take a bath, and we'll pour the dust on top of him" Well, it was not. I just kept running away scared, and they started to panic! I guess their time-pressured nervous energy rubbed off on me,  so I didn't do it. The twins persisted, so they put all kinds of things in that box-raisins, chews, my favorite toys, even more dust!-so then their mom stepped in to the bathroom and cleared things up for them. She said something like this, "Girls, maybe Charlie's acting up because the two of you are so stressed!" After that the twins realized that they should take a deep breath, relax, and let me do my thing!  And one of them suggested that she step out for a minute and chin-chill out, while the other took me home to try again later. And guess what, I hopped right in the dustbath after she left! So after the walk home, I leaped into my cage and was handed an apology and an orange puzzle chew, for helping them realize what was really important, to take things slow, live in the now, and most of all, be like a chinchilla, and just chin-chill out!
